Paper Flowers
Unique botanical art

Why paper flowers?

Not only are they a great alternative to real flowers since they are extremely long lasting, the flowers can be created to your exact requirements. You can have the flowers you wish, regardless of season. No worries about allergies or hay-fever, or potentially poisonous to your pets.

There are a few pre-designed paper flowers and arrangements in the Shop and, but this is a very small selection of the flowers that can be created and the majority of my work is from custom orders - examples and inspiration can be found on my Instagram page, within the website gallery, or information and inspiration for weddings there's a dedicated page with lots more information.

What Paper?
The majority of my flowers are made using specialist, high quality crepe paper. The paper can be dyed, coloured with paint (watercolour or acrylic), pastels or marker pens to get the realistic petal colouring and markings.

Alternatively flowers can also be created using a wide variety of paper - think comics, books, maps, music & lyrics and, of course, origami paper - thereby creating something uniquely personalised. Bespoke print designs are also possible for those wishing to incorporate a special message, symbol or even branding.

What Can Be Created?
Anything from traditional realistic flowers to fantasy stylised botanicals are possible - tiny versions, normal or giant variants are possible. New challenges are always welcome, whether it's the national flower of Mauritius or a 7 foot cactus, I'm here to create it.

The Creative Process
If you know exactly what you want, that's great, simply get in touch. Although most of my clients are not 100% sure what they want and therefore want to discuss their requirements in more detail.
Perhaps you have a vase that you'd like an arrangement for, a friend who likes certain flowers, a space that needs something floral to brighten up - I regularly take brief ideas and turn them into a complete bespoke finished piece.

Once agreed on the design, I can start on creating the flowers, or schedule the slot in the calendar for future projects.
Timescales can vary, dependent on the complexity of the commission and other client commitments, so delivery timescales are always discussed as part of the design process.
